We start our business when our country is burning under Russian army attack. Millions of people - children, women and men - are running away of their homes trying to survive. Our main goal is to create working opportunities for refugees who’ve arrived to the Western regions of Ukraine. Running the project during the war we want to show to the whole world how strong and hardy our nation is! We want to show the amazing things Ukrainians can create in spite of difficulties, making our common living more beautiful and colorful.
Woodworking used to be Ukrainian century keeping tradition. Our carpenters and wood carvers are famous all around the world. As well as Ukrainian engineers who are able to create high precision machines and technologies.
Here we are - WooBox team, which unites talented wood carvers, engineers, designers and web developers. And all together we’ve learned how to make wood work! We’ve developed a web application and using the wood of the Carpathian Mountains that is cut down as part of regular cleaning of the Carpathian National Reserve we’ve created the unique technology of wood drying, worked out the innovative carving equipment and post production process which allows the wood to keep all its natural features like texture and aroma.
Following our social mission about providing jobs to Ukrainians, we strongly believe in our business because:
- We united traditional wood carving with innovative technologies: with the help of our unique web application you can create any pattern for constructing it with our natural wood eco mosaics. Our application provides few color options for any of your pictures and works with you as many times as you need, giving you an opportunity to browse unlimited quantity of pictures and re-assembling them with our pixel mosaic.
- All our wooden building blocks and photo mosaics are made from natural oak, wild cherry, white maple and black walnut on unique high-precision machines and are very pleasant and very easy to be assembled! Just start and be amazed with their perfect smooth structure with no gaps or any roughness!
- We give the life time guarantee for all of our woodcraft construction kits! We are able to do that by cause of the unique model of drying wood in natural conditions for 2-3 years. Due to the divisive exposure to the open sun and wind, the wood contains an optimal percentage of moisture. Thanks to this, our products will never dry out and will not absorb moisture. It also means that your pictures will keep its natural aroma for years.
- Our products are completely eco-friendly as we do not use any chemical coloring or varnishing. For this reason, even small children can play with our wooden constructors without any problems. As our wooden blocks have no lacquer finish, they can be painted in different colors using ordinary color pencils.
- Our production is sustainable: as a part of our project, we are planting new trees in Carpathian Mountains - exactly as many as we use to produce our designs.
- We support the trend of making our world a better place by offering an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional plastic building blocks.
- Understanding that the alternative way of escaping plastic from our life can be quite long we still want your game to be amazing. For this reason, we’ve made our wooden construction sets to be easily combined with any other molded bricks, giving your creations a more sophisticated appearance and earthy tone.
